Bruce Hoffman & Jeff Wiley Clint Hoover Saturday, July 28th, 2018 This is our 5th year of promoting the acts for Celebrate the Bloom, a festival celebrating the unique environment of the Jennings Nature Center (Educational Center). The event is easily accessible as it is right off Route 8 north of Butler and east of Slippery Rock or by crossing 528 from 422, Prospect, headed north through Moraine State Park…and it’s a pretty drive.Bruce Hoffman (aka Cool Papa Boo) is an award-winning songwriter from Munhall PA. His songs are clever, quirky and literate — sometimes silly, sometimes serious, and sometimes both at the same time. He uses the tools of folk music in a desperate attempt to make sense of this crazy world.Jeff Wiley is a talented singer/songwriter from the Ellwood City area that will sing to your heart and sweep you away. Clint Hoover hails from Minneapolis, MN and began playing the “harp” after seeing Muddy Waters perform. A rare breed of musician, Clint has mastered both the chromatic harmonica and diatonic blues harp. From modern jazz to prewar blues.
