We’re moving
After decades of providing musicians and songwriters with a comfortable place to play, Bloomfield Bridge Tavern will close on Sat, Oct. 21. Calliope activities that have been held at BBT are moving to a new location.

Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle will meet at Bloomfield Bridge Tavern for the last time at 7 p.m. Tue., Oct. 3, followed by Calliope Songwriters Open Stage at 9 p.m. On Tue., Oct. 17 BBT will host its final open stage.
In November, Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle and Calliope Songwriters Open Stage will move to one of Pittsburgh’s best small venues. Club Cafe is located in the trendy South Side (56 S 12th St, Pittsburgh [South Side], PA 15203). With great sound and intimate sight lines, Calliope Songwriters Open Stage at Club Cafe will be more like a listening room for regional songwriters and other open stage players..It will be held once monthly, on first Tuesdays starting at 8 p.m.
Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle — members quip it’s a support group for recovering songwriters — will be held in a quiet upstairs room  on first Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at Club Cafe.
The new era for Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle and Calliope Songwriters Open Stage at Club Cafe begins Tue., Nov. 7.

13th annual CD release
Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle will celebrate the release of its 13th compilation album on Fri. Nov. 3 at the Roots Cellar, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts (6300 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, [Shady Side] PA 15232.. $7, doors open at 6:30 p.m., show 7-10 p.m.
