Kate Snow first began writing her own songs almost 40 years ago, but she set aside her singing and guitar playing while raising her family. In the years after college, divorce and several career pursuits, she kept her passion for music and continued writing and performing in coffeehouses, folk festivals and other singer-songwriter venues. Growing up in the folk and rock ‘n’ roll eras, her songs are deeply influenced by both, but she makes them her own by interpreting life through the prisms of poetry and the vicissitudes of life. Her songs are at once intellectual and emotional, poetic and frank, inviting listeners to pay attention and respond. She gives those willing to journey with her reasons to hold onto their dreams and make them come true.
