February Meeting Recap

Hey songwriters,

If you didn’t make it to the Feb. 2 meeting, you missed a good one. Members showcased songs including all kinds of bridges, or no bridge, and explored when a song may need one and when it doesn’t. Pianist and songwriter Jessica Saenz ( ended the meeting, and began the open stage, with a brilliant set of well-crafted, well-performed songs.

Sat., Feb. 13. An adult birthday party in a rented hall at a Lawrenceville restaurant. Probably 30 minutes or less for each participating Songwriters Circle member. Sound equipment and engineer provided. Pays $25 plus dinner.

Sun., May 1. Pittsburgh Marathon, near Mile 18. No pay.

Sat., May 21. Venture Outdoors Festival, Point State Park, Downtown. No pay.
