Pittsburgh Songwriters and Performers Jamie Kunning, Jay Michaels and Joe Bray come together in SongSpace Gallery to share new and compelling music!
Jamie Kunning ( sings affecting songs of love and growth and recovery in a resonant alto voice over solid ukulele. She writes, “this gift [of music] has taken me on a journey beyond my imagination. It has given me a medium through which I can express my inner windings of thoughts, emotions, and spirit. It has helped me connect with some of the lovely people whom I get to call friends and countless others who are moved by the nature of my art. To share this gift is one of my greatest pleasures. I hope it continues to give back.” She has recorded an acoustic CD, People, and is working on a new EP right now.
  • Jay Michaels ( was born into a family of musicians spanning back three generations. As a firefighter, a lot of Jay’s songwriting is inspired by and attributed to his life experiences; from disaster relief to pushing through hard times, he garners a lot of his material by writing music that is not only inspirational, but therapeutic and spiritual as well. His performances are high-energy and engaging. Jay’s upcoming debut EP, slated for release in 2018, is a dynamic multi-genre concept and story about addiction and recovery.

Joe Bray ( is a producer, photographer, and performer from Pittsburgh, PA. As a performing musician, he is comfortable in a broad range of genres including folk, country, pop, and rock. Joe studied music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston and is finishing a degree in digital media at the University of Pittsburgh.
