March Meeting
The next meeting of Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle is 7 p.m. Tue., March 4 at Bloomfield Bridge Tavern (412-682-8611, www.bloomfieldbridgetavern.com ).
The optional songwriting assignment — one of the most useful and practical we’ve had in a long time — is to write a chorus, but use it as a verse and craft another chorus to replace it. Try it and see what it does for your song (great idea David Micheal King, kingsomma@igc.org).
The featured performer is Jess Saenz (jessicasaenzmusic@yahoo.com).
Lots of stuff coming up: the launch of our 2015 album project, launch of the retrospective CD celebrating the album project’s 10 years, the SummerSounds music festival, announcement of other performance opportunities. If you don’t get out to see us often, this would be a good meeting to attend.
See you there,
John
